The water damage restoration process is very comprehensive and specific through
each particular circumstance, but there are several general steps in each process.
First we evaluate and inspect the problem, with proper documentation and identification
of the damage and scope of work necessary. Through this identification, our restoration
technicians put together the proper strategies for solving the problem, reviewing
costs and all other responsibilities involved.
The water restoration work itself involves:
- Subsurface extraction (removing water from your floors up)
- Protection and removal of your contents
- Setting up containment barriers,
- Relevant antimicrobial treatments (removal of mold, mildew, etc.),
- Disengaging your carpets (with removal of carpet padding, if needed)
- Any disposal(s) necessary of anything affected or damaged by the water
- Setting up of proper restoration equipment appropriate for the job scope (i.e. dehumidifiers,
fans, etc.)
- Tracking the progress of your carpets during the entire water restoration and drying
processes (which could take a few days)
- Reengaging your carpets back to their original position(s)
- Applying protection to the specially treated areas to assure proper safety
- Proper resetting of any furniture or contents removed during your emergency water
damage restoration process
